Ministries

 

Bible Baptist Church holds children ministries to a very high standard. We believe that the children today are the church of t0morrow. We have several teachers in place to teach the children about the word of God and the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ. We have classes for all age groups of children. We begin with our nursery and have two nurseries. One for the new-borns and one for the toddlers. Our nursery staff has a keen desire to watch the little ones while you hear from the word of God worry free. Next we have the beginners class for age group of children three to five before kindergarten. Here your child will have a lesson time appropriate for their learning ability and of course their favorite play and snack time.

 

After the beginners we have a kindergarten class, then a first grade class in which the teachers prepare a lesson appropriate for their ability to understand. Then we have the boys and girls separated for the 2nd through 6th grade. These two teachers have been teaching for several years and have lessons prepared to challenge your child with the word of God.

 

Following sunday school we have junior church which is under the direction of Bro. Gary Weise beginning with grades 1- 6.  We also have childrens  church for beginners which is led by sister Lisa Weger and our Kindergardeners which is led by Sister Arbutus Key.

The teen ministries at Bible Baptist Church is run by Ben Kirby. Brother Kirby has a desire to see teens serving Jesus Christ. Bible Baptist Church believes that it is very important to reach teens in todays world. Teens today face many things that their parents did not have to deal with. In todays culture moral and ethical values are a thing of the past. There are no moral values in todays teen world. Being a Christian teenager today is much more difficult than it once used to be.

 

The church has sunday school every sunday for the teens and during the school year we have afterglows following the Sunday evening service. We would love to have the chance to help your teen grow in his Christian walk with God. We have several teens to help encourage one another in the faith. There are also periodic youth rallies during the school year that we meet with hundreds of teens throughout the state. At Bible Baptist Church we believe the teens today are the church of tomorrow.

 

 

Bible Baptist Church would like to take this time to let you know we believe that even the adults need to get a deeper knowledge of the Word of God. We believe that everyone can know more about Jesus and do better in their walk with him. At our church we have several ministries to help you grow in whatever walk of life you are in. We have a homebuilders class for those seeking direction in beginning their household, or needing help in their household. We have a Visionaries class for those seeking to further their knowledge of God's Word through study of Biblical Doctrine, and our Senior Saints class for those that have raised their children and are now seeking to learn how to share their knowledge with the younger christians in the church. We have a new class also for those widowed women seeking encouragement in their faith.

The Home Builders class is designed to help couples in their lives together. This class teaches couples the important features needed to make a relationship work. This class is also designed for the parents seeking the essentials to raising children in today's chaotic world. This is the perfect class for people seeking direction in building a home centered around the word of God.

 

Dr. R.B. Weger teaches the Home Builders class and his goal is to instruct his students from the word of God. Dr. Weger hopes to make a difference in the lives of many people, and help couples build a foundation that will stand against the storms that this world builds up. Dr. Weger began this class with the intention to show couples that building a marriage to last takes lots of work and principles. Dr. Weger also shows the importance of moral values in today's world.

 

Dr. Weger has a personal message for everyone seeking to begin a family. May your family always be surrounded by the Word of God and God's Biblical principles.

 

 

The visionaries class was designed to help people of all walks of life grow in their Christian lives. Our visionaries class gives a deep understanding of the word of God. If you are a Christian looking to further your knowledge of the beliefs then this is definitely the class for you. Brother Lee Gleaves plans a knowledgeable lesson every week to challenge and deepen your knowledge of God's Word. This class goes over the beliefs of an independent Baptist, the Trinity, Salvation, Tithe, and many more Biblical doctrines. This class is the perfect class for new Christians looking to learn the Bible or for long time Christians looking to deepen their knowledge of the Word of God.

 

 

Bible Baptist Church believes that we need to draw from the knowledge of our senior saints. This class is designed to help the senior saints in their faith and to encourage them to teach the youth of the church. We have a teacher that loves God and even at his age still desires to give everything he has to the work of Jesus Christ. Brother Elbert seeks to help encourage our Senior Saints to seek that glorious appearing of our Savior and to keep serving the Lord until he calls us home.
